Tish MS Gala

CLIENT: Tisch multiple sclerosis
research center of New York

Role: Designer

Completed: October 2018 & 2019

I was hired to create the visual identity and collateral for the annual Tisch MS Gala fundraiser for both 2018 and 2019. I designed the visual direction and then applied it across all of the collateral, creating a dynamic yet cohesive identity for the event.  The event collateral consisted of save the dates, invitations, RSVP cards, program booklets, auction booklets, menus, table numbers, signage, and event screens.

Gala 2019

In 2019 the Gala was held in the Hall of Ocean Life in the Museum of Natural History in New York City. The large dioramas encircling the room as well as the large whale hanging from the ceiling, made the guests feel as if they were under the sea. Because of this, I used blues, greens, and purples as well as the abstract shapes of a jellyfish to create this year's visual identity.

Gala 2018

In 2018 I was also inspired by the venue, Gotham Hall, and the photography of their previous events, particularly a “starry night” lighting scheme. I wanted to capture the granduer of the space and evoke the feeling of awe.
